We do have some scissors in the suture removal kids in the stock room but MAN they are crappy. Not sharp enough at all for trimming an ostomy base plate...you just end up ripping the plastic and it leaves jagged edges.

Scissors are an item that we stock and can be freely used (and designated a pair to each patient). Although the angled scissors are pretty cool!

FYI, "They Call the Wind Mariah," is a song from the movie "Paint Your Wagon," starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin. Great movie, you should see it. The movie came out in the mid to late 1960s. I believe it might have been a Broadway play before that. I also love that song, and my friend Marci named her daughter Mariah.
