A lot of books and information from “qualified Quackbusters” interest me.   Particularly when one of them failed to sue Dr. Mercola and 50+physicians in alternative medicine.   These skeptics form a closely-knitted society using “science” like a  as their weapon.

Skeptics: Some Ready to Learn…Others may be Not

All skeptics have a similiar response – that they “need to explore and read more”.  (If there’s a genuine intention to learn more, I congratulate them and I encourage them to read more!)

I consider myself a “Health Skeptic” although I am not a skeptic of alternative health remedies.  There’s no reason why our ancestors want to leave us “food info” that could harm us, regardless of whether it’s homeopathy, Chinese Traditional Medicine or Ayuverda (India).

Homeopathy is the oldest form of  herbalism that actually complements orthodox medicine and treatments.  It is the most respected form of “modern pharmacology”, although it can work totally without prescription drugs, radiation, irradiation and surgeries.  Prevention of ailments is at the core with alternative remedies like homeopathy and naturopathy, with many scientifically proven (I try my best to name the original source of clinical trial studies where possible since health skeptics in the other group love to refer to them like how Christians refer to the Bible).   [Note: Being a vegan I am, I will in future, only "focus" on homeopathic remedies that do not use spider parts, crushed ants or snake venom - there are numerous of them!]

I see time and again also why some health skeptics are eager to pull the wool over homeopathy. More than half of those who vehemently supports Big Pharma do not want you to know what their antibiotics are doing to you (this is only 1 fear of their many fears)!   When there’s a cure for disease, who needs prescription drugs anymore?  Surely, big pharma’s profits will suffer, and they don’t want that to happen.  Their way of preventing this from happening is to discredit everything alternative medicine and remedies are for.

Take for instance…do you know that antibiotics causes Cancer?  Which can lead to pathogenic overgrowth of yeast and fungi related ailments?  Ref:   Dr. Lisa Landymore-Lin More studies are   also showing antibiotics’ link to allergies in children (same for vaccines!)

The National Library of Medicine’s  (USA) database brings up well over 9,700 mentions of “antibiotic allergic reactions” and is estimated to be responsible for more than half of the people who are sent to the Emergency Room each year.

One of the most useless petitions I’ve seen in a long time: http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/1023CAM/    The petition is made by people who want to discredit God’s food and herbs.
I just threw out Media Life Magazine, for discrediting alternative remedies and calling those who practise them, “quacks”!  (A better magazine to read?  Check out RIMGlobal on Twitter!)

My opinion on the latest “quackbuster” is connected to Dr. Andrew Wakefield’s “Fall from Disgrace”.
