Since my teen years, I’ve met approximately 50% of doctors who say vitamins or foods do not help nor improve human health. I’ve always wondered why then are we not eating medicine daily – to keep away from colds or more serious diseases.
Since starting my voracious reading of natural alternative remedies in early 2008, I’ve learned more about nutrition than I ever did since teenage Home Economics days
I also got better at cooking (after teen years), partially because I realized my food experiments were getting nowhere. In order for food to taste better, you’d have to be very familiar with taste of say…ginger, garlic, etc. One sip/spoonful – and you should roughly know what’s in the food, otherwise you cannot second-guess (and try) what other spices or beans or legumes are gonna improve taste of food.
If you’ve been following my tweets (on Twitter of course), you’d probably read about meat causing Cancer. I said that both red and white meats are not very much different in calories. A skinned chicken drumstick is probably has about the same calories of minced beef the same weight.
And not only this, I also said that it’s not just the animal fats that are making people obese, accelerating heart problems, etc. It’s also the animal proteins. Our body works DOUBLY or TRIPPLY hard just to digest meat. It’s like getting $22k from your $30k insurance policy to pay for damage of your car; you lose $8k….you are short-changed when you eat meat. (And only vegetables, non-meat, non-gmo, non-synthetic no -preservative foods are capable of negating, or reversing damage done by meat.)
Food labels can only do so much…they o not tell you how much more of vitamins you need if you are sick. Processed food labels – regardless of whether they are canned or bottled – do not tell you amount of “bad cholesterol” (the truth is, any good cholesterol that has oxidized calcium and iron in the body becomes “bad cholesterol”). It is not required of food labels to say if it’s irradiated or not (in many countries) or if they are from genetically-modified sources. So how do we know if MEAT is not what we humans should eat (or eat a lot of)??
Another Evidence that MEAT is not as Nutritious as You May Think
Recently I was again able to find even more EVIDENCE that a meat diet (or largely-meat meals) are NOT nutritious!

The Red bars (left) means WEAK (low anti-oxidants); Yellow bars means average or moderately healthy; Green means optimal health; Blue bars signal excellent health (human body rich in anti-oxidants). [ Anti-oxidants do play a role in disease-prevention, but they do not and cannot work alone. Vitamins must work with minerals, enzymes, omega-3 oils and even oxygen! ]
The above analysis (image) is done by a company known as “Pharmanex”. They’re the first in the whole world to produce a machine that measures your body’s anti-oxidant levels without any blood or urine sample. Very non-intrusive, you simply place your palm on a machine for several seconds and the machine will read and detect your anti-oxidant levels.
The person scanned for his amount of anti-oxidants has been on a white bread and meat diet for 6 years (since he was about 23). [ Similar results occur in people on such diets for shorter periods or a few months.] White bread has alloxan bread look whiter via bleached white flour) to make and bromate (both are poison). As for meat – well, self-explainatory!
“Vitamin B12 is needed, I need to eat meat.” TRUE, you need Vitamin B12. But it’s not naturally MADE by animals, it’s made by good bacteria. So if meat has Vitamin B12, it’s cos animals ate good bacteria. Vitamin B12 is not easily found in a lot of foods, so it makes sense to supplement your diet with Vitamin B12. (And if you’re already taking iron tablets, make sure there’s no iron in your multi-vitamins. Excess iron is toxic.)
“How can my soup taste nice without meat?” Try cooking with peas, beans, even nuts and butter (if you are not allergic to them)! Or go RAW and replace soup with freshly-pressed fruit juice (adding ginger juice adds a Coke-like zing to it without ill-effects of soda drinks!) You’ll still get your daily needed fluid! (Drink oxygenated water! Celebrity Madonna drinks a lot of unchlorinated unflouridated water on every of her tours!)
“I don’t wanna look like a skeleton!” With a meatless diet, it’s easy to lose weight and maintain your optimal weight…and look better! In fact, many triathalones, athletes and weight-lifters are on a totally meatless lifestyles!
Here are just a handful of famous Vegetarians:
- Sports Illustrated “Olympian of the Century” Carl Lewis
- Ultra-Marathon Runner Scott Jurek
- Tennis legend Chris Evert
- Football star Ricky Williams
- Ultimate Fighting champ Mac Danzig
- NBA standouts Raja Bell and Salim Stoudamire
- Professional Dancer and Raw Food Athlete Tonya Kay
- Professional Ironman Triathlete Brendan Brazier
- World-Class Vegan Cyclist Christine Vardaros
- New York Metro area based fitness competitor, coach, personal trainer and nutritionist Kristin Reisinger
- Surf Diva Katie Coryell
I do not know all websites or URLs. If your name is listed above and would like it to be linked to your site or blog, please comment below! Thank you!
If you are malnourished, it’s also EASY to gain weight with a meatless lifestyle! The Raw Gourmet by Nomi Shannon provides good nutrition information on how to gain weight, even for the natural bodybuilders (bodybuilders who do not take anything artificial like steroids).
With proper vegetarian info and recipes (eg. avoid too much deep-fried vege food and textured soy nuggets), you can feel less lethargic and look better!
My brother remembered speaking with someone who had worked in the food industry for more than 16 years and she herself was UNAWARE of toxic in manufactured foods! She now, like us, is a proud fan of Dr. Joseph Mercola. ( For more health sites I use to keep myself updated of REAL health news, check my right side-bar for health links or follow me on Twitter! )
For disrefutable fact about MEAT, please check out what the CHINA STUDY by Dr. T Collin Campbells has to say about consumption of meat. You’d prolly find some of his speeches on video via Youtube and elsewhere.
Many a times, vegans refer to meat as dead flesh. How do we know if the dead flesh did not come from an unhappy animal? Do you believe that unhappy animals = healthy meat? Do you believe that vaccinated meats are healthier? This throws up a lot of questions, doesn’t it?
Do Singaporeans still remember the pregnant woman who died after eating seafood at Geylang, despite no evidence of rats’ contamination?
Meat is only nutritious only because TV ads and school systems have been brainwashing us to think meat is healthy. Are governments behind such education? Your guess is as good as mine!
