Hey - it's good to see you again! :) If you see a short excerpt here and wish to read more, click on the Green Title for Full Story.

Updates: On 26th Nov, the MOH said that the AS03 adjuvant has been used in 41,000 people throughout the world and there has been no safety concerns. So far one healthy woman has ‘swelled up ‘ after the H1N1 Flu shot.   In total, there are 27 reported adverse effects in Singapore so far.   Alternative link: http://bit.ly/8cFcGG

There’s no autoimmune reactions to the H1N1 Flu shots in Singapore.  Here’s a published peer-reviewed study that squalene (adjuvant) induces autoimmune diseases in animals.  Should we be concerned?

Vaccines with AS03 adjuvant that has been found safe on 41,000 ppl were tested with H5N1 vaccine AND not H1N1 vaccine.

A more recent WHO Press Conference (Sept 2009) confirmed that there is no safety data regarding the use of squalene adjuvanted vaccines for pregnant women, asthmatics and children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years. Both pregnant women and young children are targeted groups on the priority list for injection, along with health care providers. – Transcript of the WHO conference

Because   mainstream media & CDC don’t publicise adverse reactions/deaths from H1N1 Vaccination, don’t mean they don’t or won’t happen.

The MOH (Ministry of Health, Singapore) now has 2 contracts with:
GlaxoSmithKline (UK company; Pandemrix) and
Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (Australian company; non-adjuvanted ie. with no LIVE weakened H1N1 Flu virus, no squalene) –> this is first rolled out as GSK’s Pandemrix is not yet ready.
[ The vaccines with AS03 adjuvant that has been found safe on some 41,000 individuals has been tested along with the H5N1 vaccine AND not the H1N1 vaccine.  Testing with an H1N1 component (Arepanrix) is ongoing; limited data are available at Canada Health, and in the product leaflet.  AS03 is also known as MF59 (named by Norvatis). ]

The H1N1 Flu Vaccinations (non-mandatory) started in the afternoon of 6th Nov 2009; some 40 people got the shots on this day. The local polyclinics are charging SG$29 per H1N1 flu shot although private clinics can be charging up to SG$40 per shot.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health strongly advised individuals in high-risk groups to be “immunized” from the H1N1 (Swine) Flu.

High-risk groups? According to MOH, high-risk groups are:

  1. women in their 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy (Canada puts it as “safe” for those more than 20 weeks pregnant),
  2. newborns to children of 5 years of age (Canada do not recommend the H1N1 Vaccination in babies under 6 months of age which makes me wonder why.)
  3. those above 65 years of age,
  4. those with chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, ronchitis and emphysema,
  5. those who are chronic sufferers of cardiac disease, diabetes, or chronic metabolic, renal, neurological or blood conditions,
  6. children and teenagers on longterm prescriptive drugs (namely, aspirin) and prescription steroids (including those using steroid cream/gels),
  7. people on chemotherapy,
  8. people who have HIV and Aids and
  9. obese people.

H1N1 Vaccine Manufacturers’ product warning/precaution insert (inert leaflet) says in layman terms NOT TO TAKE THE VACCINE IF YOU ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED or if you are ALLERGIC TO EGGS, NUTS…. Immunocompromised people refer to those who have food allergies or suffer chronic ailments/diseases like asthma, cancer, diabetes, heart and kidney ailments, eczema and psoriasis, or are on steroids, chemotherapy, etc.

Administration of Influenza A (H1N1) 2009 Monovalent Vaccine Live, Intranasal, a live virus vaccine, to immunocompromised persons should be based on careful consideration of potential benefits and risks. Sounds like a gamble?   Many people who are taking prescription drugs longterm are considered immunocompromised.

ChannelNewsAsia reported that GlaxoSmithKline’s H1N1 Vaccine has NOT been cleared for those under 18 years of age.If the vaccine is approved for use in those under 18, wouldn’t it be in conflict with MOH’s latest recommendation #2 (see above)?

Go to your doctor and demand a copy of the vaccine insert!

And why would it be recommended for the unborn fetus in pregnant?

And just what’s INSIDE these H1N1 Vaccines? Squalene (CSL’s vaccine in Singapore does not have this), aluminium (aluminum), thimerasol (mercury), phenol-red, aborted tissue or eye tissues of human or animal babies, possible animal parts, etc.

These vaccines – since containing animal parts – may not be halal (unfit for Muslims to use).

According to vaccine manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline may be about one in ten vaccinated will “have some trouble”, which is slightly more than the usual seasonal influenza vaccine.
Do you know that even Singapore researchers FOUND that the H1N1 virus is no different from the Seasonal Flu virus? Astonishing!!

Reported by ChannelnewsAsia:These findings, from Tan Tock Seng Hospital, are based on studies on its first 70 H1N1
patients.

“One of the things we also realised is that for those individuals who present early, and get treatment early, they can shorten the duration of virals recovered from the nose and the throat,” said Associate Professor Leo Yee Sin, clinical director, Communicable Disease Centre, Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Is this why Tamiflu and Relenza once used for common flu, now re-used for the H1N1 Swine flu?

American attorney Mr. James Turner
argues that if H1N1 is just a seasonal variation in the flu, the federal government shouldn’t have treated it as a national health emergency and set out to buy 250 million doses!

I find 12 reasons not to be shot with the H1N1 Vaccines. I shudder to think that Muslims going on their pilgrimage to Mecca are getting the H1N1 shots – I mean, sure, it’s noble to die while on pilgrimage because you are assured a seat in heaven but are premature deaths helping those who wanna remain alive?
And I shudder even more when I know Obama did not give his daughter the H1N1 Flu shots as he said he would back in May/June 2009. Dr. Oz too does not allow the H1N1 Flu shots for this family despite saying the shots are “necessary” and “good preventive measure”.
