This blog is updated every few days as so many things can be said for nutrition via vitamins, minerals and enzymes! (Same for part one!)

There are only 2 disadvantages of being healthy:
You will miss all the doting you got when you were sick and
you will miss the “convenience” of taking pills instead of making real health changes.

VITAMINS, MINERALS and ENZYMES

  1. If you are taking vitamin supplements, make sure you are eating only natural vitamins and minerals, not synthetic ones!
  2. Choose only cold-pressed oils and supplements if you can as those treated with hear tend to have lesser nutrients; and if you can, choose organic over non-organic.
  3. When buying multi-vitamins, you do not need to get one with vitamins A and D because Vitamins A (via eating carotene-rich foods) and D, are best made naturally by the body.  Excess ingested vitamin A is toxic although you may need vitamin D supplements say, in winter.
  4. Also, choose supplements that are rich in flavonoids (namely cucurmin naturally occuring in Tumeric , quercetin, ferulic acid and ellagic acid).
  5. Up your intake of trace minerals  and enzymes!
  6. Vitamin B and C can be taken before and after the H1N1 shots.   “Vitamin C at a dose of 1000 mg should be taken four times a day between meals. It is a very potent anti-inflammatory and should be taken in a buffered form, not as absorbic acid.”, says Dr Russel Blaylock.
  7. Vitamin D3 is more of a neural hormone (than a vitamin) that the body can manufacture from our exposure to sunlight (UVB).  Helps if you are over-reacting immunologically by cooling down the reaction. Similarly, if you are under-reacting, it helps to boost your immune response. In addition it also protects against micro-organism invasion.  Take note that your tanning salon will not do the same as daily 15 to 20 minutes of natural healthy sunlight. (Dr. Cedric F.   8. Gamma-E, found ONLY IN Natural Whole Foods like nuts, whole grains, and wheat germ, helps reduce several of the inflammatory cytokines (“toxic storm” within the body).  The other kind in your vitamin E capsules, aka alpha-tocopherol , is different because alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) may promote oxidation (free radicals), specifically in smokers who also eat a lot of foods with omega-6 cooking oils.
  9. Vitamin K, a stronger antioxidant than vitamin E or coenzyme Q10, prevents oxidative cell damage, promotes strong bones and heart,  and are found in foods like brussels sprouts, green beans, asparagus, Swiss chard, broccoli, and mustard greens.  Vitamin K works outside the liver (gives liver a break!) to regulate calcium, and gives proteins “claws” so proteins can “hold on” to calcium.  Vitamin K2 should not be taken by those who are taking blood-thinning medicines.  ::  10 Things You should Know about Vitamin K
  10. Primrose Oil (normally taken by women) also has Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) that is is anti-cancer.  Primrose oil and Borage regulate the metabolic rate of various tissues, division and growth of cells, secretions (including digestive juices and hormones), controls fertility processes, and supports your body’s immune system; also fight inflammation, arthritic pain and eczema.  GLA is the perfect replacement for Omega-6 oils (you don’t need a lot of Omega-6 oils commonly found in cooking oil.)
  11. Selenium (don’t exceed 200 mcg per day) and Zinc are not only a cancer-fighter, selenium helps keep your eyes healthy.
  12. Antioxidants include Co-Enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) and indole-3-carbinol.  They strengthen the immune system.
  13. Magnesium Citrate will make your body less acidic, so as to avoid bad reactions due to vaccinations.  Magnesium prevents the body from absorbing junk including aspartame and thimerasol (mercury).   Most of us are deficient in Magnesium so it is vital.  Dr. Blaylock recommends 500 mg of elemental magnesium – two capsules/time, three times a day.
  14. Essential Fatty Acids like Oil of Evening Primrose, Flaxseed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Pumpkin seed Oil, oil from Rose Hips, Cold-pressed Olive oil. Omega 3 oils nourish the spinal column and brain, and protects the heart from disorders.  Omega 3 oils from Krill is less likely to have toxic mercury than salmon.  The least mercury-contaminated kind of fish are the Wild Alaskan Red Salmon.
  15. Echinacea (only take for 6 weeks at a time, then take a break) Most people know about Echinacea, and take it at the first sign of a cold or flu; but it also helps enormously to lift the first fatigue and other initial symptoms
  16. Avoid any product with ginseng.
  17. Fulvic acid is not an acid, but an organic mineral complex and natural antioxidant found in areas like the mountains of Himilayas. Successfuly tested in clinical trials in China (for bad lung disorders), it detoxes (gets rid of)  heavy metals from the crap that we would undoubtedly get from those stupid vaccines.  PolyFlor™ contains fulvic acid.
  18. Gelsenium was used during the Spanish Flu it by many people with no adverse symptoms.  Gelsenium is to be taken once you experience any symptoms of flu (muscle aches, sore throat, cold).   You know you only have a cold and not flu if you do have only running nose and nothing else.  Still, treat your cold as if it is flu!
  19. Astaxanthin is a carotinoid that’s very effective at preventing Gullian Barre Syndrome (an inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nerves – nerves outside the brain and spinal cord)  According to Dr Blaylock, fatal reactions to vaccines in aboriginal and African children occurred in those who were deficient in astaxanthin. In short, astaxanthin is not only good for the heart, is gives good protection against the very substances in vaccines that are toxic.
  21. ^MMS  (Miracle Mineral Solution) is anti-cancer.  If you are already eating natural anti-cancer whole foods marked ^ on this page, you may not need MMS.
  22. NEC 600 (n-acetyl-l-cysteine):  Take ONLY IF you are not autistic nor suffering from intestinal candidiasis.
  23. As you can see from above, there are so many anti-viral flu herbs and natural foods that you can use (seek the advise of a nutrionist if you wish!)  The number of natural whole foods are probably “endless”!  You don’t need to take all of them but I am listing them so you know you know you have more choices to help protect you from common flu and the H1N1 (Swine) Flu infections.
The main role of antioxidants (eg. flavoniods, isoflavones, bioflavonoids) is to prevent cell damage (or mutation) via free radicals.  Free radicals cannot be avoided, they are found in almost everything, in our bodies and in air.  Free radicals (a class of molecules/compounds) exist and act like microbes that react quickly to dead or decomposing material.  Free radicals are generated by a variety of sources including pesticides, smoking and exhaust fumes – the very things that causes cancer so antioxidants  are synonymous with anti-cancer and good health.

Let family health be your legacy.  Your children will not follow today’s trend of more obese children becoming chronically ill.  Keep in mind that obsity in childhood carries into adulthood more than 75% of the time.
