Hey - it's good to see you again! :) If you see a short excerpt here and wish to read more, click on the Green Title for Full Story.

Rowan Atkinson was 41 when MR. BEAN ‘made’ him famous.  One of our youngest Singaporean, Stanley Tang, 14, is an author of a book sold on Amazon.com  And another 19-year-old Korean girl who made millions in a year doing what she liked most – wear, snap and sell dresses she designs.  THAT really got me thinking – that age is of no barrier when it comes to success or entrepreneurship.   Last November I did a search and found YoungEntrepreneur.com and I’ve been following it more closely recently as I see its URL being twittered now and then.  What’s in there, you ask?

First of all, I noticed that YoungEntrepreneur was nominated for the Best Business Blog (Blogger’s Choice Awards).  I also noticed YoungEntrepreneur excels in providing many useful articles on its sites, articles like:

  • The Entrepreneur’s guide to Venture Capital
  • Do you have a Motto?
  • Don’t Listen to People who put you down (King Gillette)

and so many others that kept me glued to their site quite a bit!

The YoungEntrepreneur‘s Internet Marketing section of its site gives insightful SEO advice and other non-SEO but marketing-related tips.

Its YoungEntrepreneur’s University shows you how to get more mileage from your marketing, etc.

In YoungEntrepreneur‘s Mastermind Group you’ll find inspiring stories on how people started their business which went on to become successful and rewarding.

Dozens of blogs about entrepreneurship have been featured (entrepreneur profiles in “Mind Petals”) as YoungEntrepreneur interviews CEOs of brands and well-known fashion labels (you don’t HAVE to be a mogul or tycoon to be featured in there).

And I love the cartoons in the Business Savvy of the site; they give a comical quirky yet realistic perspective to everyday lives of entrepreneurs.

Not that I have anything against people older than me (in fact I prefer the company of those 8 to 30 years older than me!), but I also like it that YoungEntrepreneur is not “forum-like” – which would have made it look like a “baby-boomer” (websites whose owners are born in 1940s).  ha ha!

What you’ll NOT find on YoungEntrepreneur.com are legal templates, entrepreneur-wannabes and investment angels match-up bulletin boards, Craiglists/eBay-type services.

If you don’t run a blog but you enjoy YoungEntrepreneur.com like I do, why not give it a review too at SiteRapture (beta)?  It’s currently rated as 7/10 but I feel it’s worth at least an 8.5/10 (the other 1.5 is not given so YoungEntrepreneur.com keep improving the value they give to their readers).

Some sites you may like if you enjoy YoungEntrepreneur.com (in no particular order of prederence):
StartupNation.com
Biznick.com
Blog.GuyKawasaki.com
PaulGraham.com
ToiletEntrepreneur.com
ImmediateInfluenceblog.com
Webworkdaily.com
okDork.com
ParticleTree.com

P.S.  Nope – didn’t write this so that YoungEntrepreneur.com could give me a link back to my site!  I wrote this because I think it’s one of the more resourceful entrepreneur blog you can ever find online.  I hope to do more future reviews of other sites (and products) as I come to know them – IF my time allows!

Now your turn to speak! Found any entrepreneurs’ site/blog worth visiting?  Give me a shout, trackback or comment!
