Guy Kawasaki versus Robert Kiyosaki

Hey - it's good to see you again! :)

I find that some people always mix up Robert Kiyosaki and Guy Kawasaki although they’re alike in many ways.

For one both are wise gurus.  Both support entreprenuership.  And both have Japanese originating family names.  Both live in the USA (different states).  They both have taught things schools don’t usually teach (3 thumbs up!)

Both are also authors in their own right!   [Guy Kiyosaki seems to be more geeky (or computer guy) since he runs his own IT firm.]

Take a look at +Baker’s “Beyond Success” Blog:  Robert Kiyosaki’s Accurate Prediction of the US economy :: People who didn’t think the BOX existed

Hmmm….I wonder if Robert Kiyosaki and Guy Kawasaki have met each other in person?  Whether they spoke English or Japanese with each other?  haha

Have you met any of them in person, like at a book-signing event?  What’s your experience with them?

  3. You are 100% on the money! Most people I see view things in the short run and try to take every opportunity to promote or hype themselves instead of building credibility by helping others achieve their goals.

Yeah. I also met his wife Kim. I intend one day to have my wife become my business partner as well. I think how they work as team is vital to the success of both their business ventures.

Hey +Kelly great post! Prior to reading this I was not familiar with Guy Kawasaki’s work. However I have read many of Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Books Series. I also met Robert at a Wealth Expo in Los Angeles. He’s a great guy. Very wise.

    Thanks for the shout out!
