Omigod! I am becoming a Twitter Maniac or Twitterholic! I lurve Twitter! Today I visited eleven (11) websites/blogs to check out twitter goodies. I tested…
positive for Aids CurseBird today. It detects Twitterers who uses words like F*ck and Shit. I wasn’t able to test for ‘Eff’, ‘Fark’, ‘Fuk’, ‘Fukc’, ‘WTF’, ‘hell’ and ‘bull’ because I suspect there are really many more people sweraing via Twitter than CurseBird can really handle.
If you’re feeling game, test words for ‘pea-brain’, ‘birdbrain’, ‘scrooge’, ‘idiot’ and what have you! lol CurseBird is a place where you can view some Twitter swears but not all of it.
2. I tested Twitemperature today too. I can’t believe my temperature is “volcanic-high” but I can’t ignore that there just MAY be a grain of “truth” to Twitemperature’s “gauge”.
“Twitemperature ignores meaningless points of measure like number of followers and number of people you are following (which may be a good thing), and instead focuses on what you’re actually saying in real time. We poll your last several hundred tweets and score what you’re saying against what everyone else is saying in current hot conversations on Twitter and elsewhere.”
That is to say, your last 100 tweets (or twits) is compared to what other Twitterers are saying in
real time. The closer your tweets are to what’s being discussed online, the more interactions (dm
and @) you use, the hotter you measure via Twitemperature.
May be quite accurate since I’ve been exchanging private messages with both my followers and non-followers!
