The question I would like to ask,”Would you switch your blog to WordPress if you knew a wordpress blog can fetch a higher amount when you sell it later?”
I don’t think I would sell mine any sooner. It’s true Google loves WordPress as it’s easier for Google Search-bots to crawl and index self-hosted WordPress.
The irony is, Yahoo seems to be doing “more”, indexing a few times more web pages than what Google is currently doing. This is apparent in the number of cached pages when you type in site:yoursiteaddress.com in Google and Yahoo.
