Hey - it's good to see you again! :) If you see a short excerpt here and wish to read more, click on the Green Title for Full Story.

Get your favourite mp3s (music) without paying for them in several easy-to-follow steps!  Legally and safely!  In 4 easy steps!

1. Visit Applian to download their Free FreeCorder toolbar.  Make sure you know which folder you’ve save the application so you can double-click on it to install it on your pc. No worries – this software is non-malware and will not report statistics to its software-maker if you choose not to allow it (tick/untick box as desired).

2. After installing into your Firefox or Internet Explorer (or any internet browser), you need to restart your internet browser. (If that doesn’t work, simply reboot or restart your computer.)

3. Find sites that are authorised to broadcast or play music online for free.  Find online radio stations, etc.  Visit sites that allows you to listen to partial or full tracks of music.  You may wanna try Blip.fm where I’ve so far spun 2 pages of great music (mostly dance and a few new age tracks from Medwyn Goodall).  Pick a song and PLAY.

No, you DON’T need an internet microphone to record music but your pc should at least have an audio card that helps your computer speakers work.  Play a Youtube video or 2; if you can hear the music, you can record the music.

4. Immediately start recording via your internet browser toolbar (you should see something different there – that’s what you should use). You may want to set up your recording preferences before you start recording, like naming the folder where you want to save your recorded mp3.

You know your free music-recording tool is working when you see “electronic pulses” changing in your FreeCorder toolbar.

Remember to support music artists for the great music they play! You can do this by buying their physical full albums which may include a foldout poster, lyrics and other “add-ons” that digital music can’t provide. The other way is to buy songs by their titles, which can be had from as little as US$0.30/each onwards. Browse eBay – only music owners/creators can sell their own music on eBay (you can’t sell music you don’t own/make on eBay).

P.S.  A disclaimer just in case you’re NOT aware! All info shown here is for educational and/or informational purposes.  If you’re using recorded mp3 and/or music in illegal ways or for illegal distribution, plagiarism, etc, I do not hold any liabilities and responsibility for your use.  Know your rights – protect yourself by being well-informed!  Be nice, be wise – stay qool!
